Edit: Keep in mind, Orochimaru may never be able to feel or express love. In this fic, it even states this. It's likely impossible for him to fall in love so the idea here is he wants to make her feel comfortable and wanted for the trouble she's gone through. Most likely he'll protect her as he still believes she belongs to him. So I never intend to have Orochimaru "fall" for anyone.
